Trade guides suggest at least 6 \u00d7 6 ft of working area, and about 100 sq ft is comfortable.<\/p><\/div><div class=\"ev-prose\"><h3>Utilities<\/h3><ul><li>A dedicated circuit for the edger; no extension cords.<\/li><li>Water supply and drain for the edger, or a recirculating tank.<\/li><li>Ventilation if you cut high-index lenses.<\/li><\/ul><h3>What to buy first<\/h3><p>The core is lensmeter, blocker, edger and hand edger.
